Story

Rabbi (Furqan Merchant) is an aspiring rock star but his father (Raghubir Yadav) and mother (Dolly Ahluwalia) wants him to take up a government job. They also want him to marry his maternal uncle's daughter Shazia (Pooja Gupta) while he loves Aafiya (Bidita Bag). His father dies and he starts to seriously think of going to Mumbai to become a rock star. He and his friend Raju go to a moneylender to arrange for funds. The moneylender asks both of them to deliver two bags to two different persons. Unaware that the bag contains explosives, both go their separate ways to deliver their respective bags. Rabbi however gets caught by the police on terrorism charges before he can deliver the bag. He's thrown in jail. How he proves his innocence and manages to fulfil his dream forms the rest of the film.
