Story

An old don (Om Puri) leaves a will for his son Vikrant (Rahul Dev), son-in-law Guru Gulab Khatri (Akshay Kumar) and daughter Preeti (Jhangiani) who is Vikrant's stepsister and Guru's wife. He has diamonds worth 100 crores in a New York bank and the trio would have to go together to retrieve them or in case of death of one or more with a proper death certificate. To get Guru framed Vikrant murders a politician but Guru flies to New York beforehand. In the neighbourhood a dhuki husband Anmol (Aftab Shivdasani) and his father-in-law Manilal (Paresh Rawal) stay with their dominating wives Mona (Amrita Arora) and Paramjeet (Supriya Pilgaonkar).
