Story

The story is based on youngster Ram (played by Girish Kumar) who falls in love with Shruti Haasan, who lives on the fields of Punjab. He follows her to her farm, where her elder brother (Sonu Sood) challenges him to produce more seed on their fields Ram (Girish Kumar Taurani) has come to India with his mum to see his cousin Riya (Anchal Singh) there he meets her best friend Sona (Shruti Haasan) .They fall in love but its difficult for them seeing as Ram comes from a modern city of Australia, and that Sona comes from a traditional village in India. There is also some tension between Sona's brother Raghuveer (Sonu Sood) and Ashwanni (Poonam Dhillon), Ram's mother. Sona has no parents.
