Meet entrepreneur Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa Shetty has become the latest star to launch her own fragrance in UK. She has named her perfume S2 (pronounced S square) and considers it to be a 'cut above the rest' in the sea of celebrity fragrances. The Bollywood star has become a household name in the UK after winning the reality show Celebrity Big Brother. As her publicist Dale Bhagwagar puts it, 'Shilpa has come to be the fragrance of this season and its going to last.'

S2 has been created by one of the oldest French perfumers, Robertet, and releases across the UK at most high-street retailers from July. 'Each ingredient has been hand-picked by Shilpa with each keynote having an individual importance to her. It is a kaleidoscope of rich floral with a fruity zest including the scent of Mandarin, Bergamot, Peach, Jasmine and Sandalwood among others,' informs Bhagwagar.

'With S2, Shilpa joins the likes of Kylie Minogue, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Lopez and Paris Hilton in launching her own signature scent,' he adds. The actress whose next film Apne is about to release, is all set to write a cookery book, make a DVD video on yoga to be shot in the Himalayas, feature in a Broadway musical, launch a chain of restaurants abroad - starting with one in Central London, and feature as Sita in the international movie Hanuman.
